Wärtsilä Gas Solutions will supply Compact Reliq Double systems for retrofit installations on Excelerate Energy’s floating storage regasification units (FSRUs), enhancing the environmental performance of the world’s largest FSRU operator. This order is expected to be booked by Q4 2024.
Emissions Reduction and Cargo Preservation
The Wärtsilä Compact Reliq system will relucify boil-off gas and return it to the cargo tanks, reducing emissions and preventing cargo loss. The system leverages reverse Brayton cycle technology to offer operational efficiency and environmental benefits.
