The port quickly responded to the rise in demand by expanding its yard storage capacity, adding 90,000 square meters of space in record time to ensure seamless business operations.

Auto terminal Khalifa Port’s swift construction of additional yard space—equivalent to more than 12 soccer fields—reflects the port’s adaptability to market changes. This flexibility has been key to maintaining business continuity for its customers while managing the increased trade flow. As a hub for three of the world’s top five container shipping lines—MSC, COSCO, and CMA CGM—the port plays a crucial role in the overall success of AD Ports Group.

Since 2021, AD Ports Group has tripled its revenue through strategic acquisitions and organic growth, supported by Auto terminal Khalifa Port’s infrastructure investments. Saif Al Mazrouei, CEO of Ports Cluster, highlighted that the rise in Ro-Ro volumes demonstrates Khalifa Port’s scalable infrastructure, which positions it as a leader in regional trade and logistics development.

This has enabled the terminal to efficiently manage business flow, minimizing delays and maximizing supply chain throughput for its customers.
