This new section provides a comprehensive list of the latest tolls and maritime services tariffs, accessible through a drop-down menu with a downloadable option for easy reference. Additionally, a Maritime Services Estimation Calculator has been included, designed to estimate the total cost of a canal transit by factoring in both fixed and variable tariff components, maritime services, and port movements.

The enhanced section also offers regular announcements and updates related to tolls and maritime services, alongside explanatory notes and examples to clarify the tariff structure and ensure a better understanding of the cost breakdown.
Distinction Between New Calculator and VUMPA
While the new cost estimation calculator is a valuable tool, the Panama Canal Authority has noted that it does not replace the VUMPA (Ventanilla Única Marítima de Panamá) calculator, which offers a more detailed and specific estimate of the maritime services available at the Panama Canal.
