Vard has been awarded a new contract by Navigare Capital Partners for the construction of a customized commissioning service operations vessel (CSOV). This deal extends the existing partnership between Vard and Norwind Offshore, highlighting the strength of their collaboration.
Vessel Design and Construction Details
The CSOV, designed using the VARD 4 19 blueprint, is set for delivery in the second quarter of 2027. The vessel will be constructed at Vard’s shipyard in Vung Tau, Vietnam, further cementing Vard’s reputation for delivering high-quality offshore vessels.
Continuation of Long-Standing Partnership
This contract is the first option exercised from a prior agreement signed in March, continuing the long-standing partnership. The new vessel will be the sixth CSOV Vard has delivered to Norwind Offshore and its partners since October 2021, complementing other specialized offshore vessels in their fleet.
Future Expansion Opportunities
Additionally, the agreement includes two further options, allowing room for future expansion, underscoring the potential for even greater collaboration between the parties moving forward.
