Today marked the steel-cutting ceremony for “Seven Seas Prestige,” a new ultra-luxury cruise ship for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, a brand of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. The ceremony took place at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Marghera, Venice. The vessel is set for delivery in 2026, with a sister ship to follow in 2029, reports Fincantieri.

Prominent attendees included Harry Sommer, President & CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd, Andrea DeMarco, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Luigi Matarazzo, General Manager of Fincantieri’s Merchant Ships Division.

Vessel Details: A Luxury Experience

The “Seven Seas Prestige” will boast a gross tonnage of 77,000 tons and a length of 257 meters. It will accommodate 850 passengers in 434 luxurious suites.

It offered one of the highest guest-to-space ratios in the industry, ensuring sophistication and refinement.

Environmental Technology and Innovation

The ship will feature the most advanced environmental technologies and introduce new accommodation categories.

It was alongside unique dining experiences for luxury travelers.

Prestige Class: A New Generation of Ships

“Seven Seas Prestige” is the first vessel in the new Prestige Class, following the highly successful Explorer series.

Previous vessels, including the Seven Seas Explorer (2016), Seven Seas Splendor (2020), and Seven Seas Grandeur (2023), were also built by Fincantieri.
