The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) has made a significant leadership change by appointing Beth Ann Branch as the new President & Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2024. Branch, a recognized expert in the global maritime industry, brings over 20 years of experience in transportation and logistics to the role. She succeeds Ronald Wendel Jr., who served as the Acting President & CEO during a pivotal period for the Port, overseeing important initiatives such as the $1.8 billion Louisiana International Terminal.
