On November 2, a fire broke out in the engine room of a dredging vessel near the St. John’s River, prompting a swift response from the U.S. Coast Guard and Jacksonville emergency teams, reports SAFETY4SEA.

Small boat crews worked together to manage the fire, along with Jacksonville Fire Rescue and the Sheriff’s Office.
