Scandlines and Caterpillar Motoren signed an MoU to explore the viability of using methanol as a fuel for MaK-powered ferries. It will be used in discussing mutual insights and innovation opportunities regarding methanol solutions toward the common target of reduced CO2 emissions for ferry operations, reports LinkedIn.
