Sustainability and Decarbonisation
- Electric Ferry Classification: IRS successfully classed a next-generation electric ferry, promoting cleaner maritime transport.
- Green Technology Projects: Collaborations with industry leaders advanced decarbonisation efforts, such as the development of the Swayat project, India’s first autonomous vessel.
- Autonomous Navigation System: In partnership with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, IRS demonstrated an innovative system with dual navigation capabilities.
Maritime Safety and Innovation
- Ship Trajectory Prediction Tool: Developed with IIT Bombay, this tool aims to enhance navigational safety.
- Underwater Radiated Noise Prediction: IRS advanced its technical expertise in predicting and managing underwater noise.

- Naval and Defence Projects: Key deliveries in 2024 included:
- Four Shallow-Water Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvettes.

- Partnered with Dassault Systèmes to implement the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, with trials expected to conclude by Q2 2025, enabling enhanced operational efficiency.

Reviving India’s Maritime Heritage
