MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has introduced iReefer, a cutting-edge container monitoring system for reefer cargo. This innovative solution enables customers to track and monitor their temperature-controlled shipments in real-time from any location globally, reports MSC.
iReefer Platform
MSC’s iReefer platform provides customers with real-time insights into their reefer shipments, including position, temperature, humidity, and other crucial data.
iReefer is accessible through myMSC, MSC’s proprietary e-business platform, and via an API. iReefer Pro and iReefer Ultimate will be available from March 1, 2025. iReefer Pro and iReefer Ultimate will be available from March 1, 2025.

The launch of iReefer reflects the growing global demand for refrigerated cargo and the increasing need for sophisticated digital solutions in the shipping industry.
iReefer offers numerous benefits to customers, including real-time container monitoring and temperature control, enhanced container security, compliance with regulatory requirements, and access to valuable data-driven insights.
By preventing cargo spoilage, damage, and insurance claims, connected reefers can also help reduce costs for shippers. To access real-time insights, customers must first log in to myMSC or create a new account.
