MacGregor Secures Contract For 100T AHC Crane For Jana Marine Service

Helsinki, Finland – MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has been awarded a contract to deliver a 100-tonne Active Heave Compensated (AHC) crane for a Dive Support Vessel (DSV) owned by Jana Marine Service Company.

Contract Details & Project Timeline

  • The contract was booked in Q4 2024 but is not included in Cargotec’s reported orders, as MacGregor is classified under discontinued operations.
  • Delivery of the crane to Guangzhou Salvage shipyard is scheduled for Q2 2026, with the vessel’s completion later that year.

Customer Confidence & Collaboration

MacGregor’s local sales team will collaborate closely with Guangzhou Salvage to ensure:

  • Seamless integration of the crane into the vessel
  • Optimized performance for offshore operations

The customer’s decision to select MacGregor was based on previous high-performance deliveries.
