Veson Nautical (Veson) and Cargill have strengthened their existing partnership to accelerate the digital transformation of the maritime industry, reports Veson.
Expanded Partnership
Cargill’s Ocean Transportation business has entered a Strategic Technology Agreement with Veson, granting them access to Veson’s full portfolio, including data intelligence and the AI-powered Shipfix workflow solution.
Building on their existing use of the Veson IMOS Platform, Cargill aims to streamline their technology and boost efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in their global shipping operations.
Sean Riley, Veson’s President and COO, expressed excitement about the expanded partnership and its role in advancing the maritime industry.
A key driver of this collaboration is Cargill’s goal to enhance customer experience. Veson is working with Cargill to develop a customer-focused solution that integrates proprietary data, supplier information, and customer insights. This will enable faster, data-driven decisions and facilitate compliance with regulations like those from the IMO and FuelEU.
