- TMC Compressors to supply a high-capacity marine compressed air system for Genting’s FLNG facility.
- The scope includes six compressors for control air, instrument air, N2 feed air, and utilities.
- The facility, with a 1.2 MTPA LNG capacity, is built in China before deployment to Indonesia.
TMC Compressors has been awarded a contract to supply a large-capacity marine compressed air system for the Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facility being developed by Wison New Energies for Genting. The contract is part of a subcontract agreement with Jereh Offshore, a China-based engineering and service provider for offshore industries.
Scope of Supply and Project Details
As part of its scope, TMC will provide a marine compressed air system consisting of six compressors to support control air, instrument air, nitrogen (N2) feed air, and utility operations. While the financial details of the contract remain undisclosed, the project underscores TMC’s commitment to delivering reliable, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance compressed air solutions tailored for marine and offshore applications.
The FLNG facility, designed to produce 1.2 million tonnes of LNG annually, is being constructed by Wison New Energies at its shipyards in Nantong and ZhouShan, China. Following successful performance testing at the yard, the facility will be transported to Teluk Bintuni, West Papua, Indonesia, for final commissioning.
