  • Joint Development: Both companies shared their design and construction expertise to create a new vessel that offers improved fuel efficiency and increased cargo capacity compared to traditional designs.

  • Technical Enhancements: The conventional hull length was extended by 3 meters, optimizing cargo capacity and fuel efficiency. Additionally, MT-FAST, an energy-saving technology, was installed to enhance propulsion performance and reduce fuel consumption.

  • Environmental Initiative: The new design exceeds IMO’s EEDI environmental standards by 35% and is also designed to be methanol dual-fuel compatible.

  • Unified Branding: The vessel is named Bingo 42, representing both companies’ geographic location (Bingo region, Japan) and their commitment to innovation and green maritime transportation.
