BOCOM Financial Leasing officially took delivery of Green Sepetiba, a state-of-the-art pulp carrier built by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry. Part of a specialized fleet designed for transporting pulp and various cargo types, this vessel highlights China’s growing capabilities in eco-friendly maritime engineering.

Part of a Modern, Versatile Fleet

Green Sepetiba joins a series of vessels that includes Green Munguba, Green Pecem, Green Suape, Green Qingdao, and Green Brazil. These ships are tailored for transporting pulp but are also capable of carrying a wide range of cargo such as grain, iron ore, steel structures, containers, Ro-Ro cargo, and even rail vehicles. This versatility supports the ship’s role in global trade, ensuring high utility across markets.

Advanced Specifications for Global Reach

With a length overall (LOA) of 225 metres, a beam of 32.26 metres, and a deadweight of 77,000 tons, Green Sepetiba is built for long-range operations. The vessel can travel up to 25,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 15 knots, making it ideal for international routes. Its robust design allows it to handle varied cargo types and operating environments.
