Sustainability and Innovation Take Center Stage

Under the banner of #Future-Proof, this year’s program focused on sustainable ocean business and maritime innovation. New additions like the Ocean Invest forum and the LNG Conference highlighted the event’s forward-looking agenda.

“The fact that this was our 60th was obviously noteworthy, but the excitement, engagement and innovations on show demonstrated that the focus was firmly on the future. As underlined by our popular #Future-Proof theme. I’d just like to thank all our participants for playing their part in making this the best Nor-Shipping ever. We can’t wait to welcome everyone ‘home’ again at Nor-Shipping 2027. See you there!” said Sidsel Norvik, Director of Nor-Shipping.

The conference and seminar program grew by 38%, offering more in-depth insights and collaboration opportunities for decision-makers across the maritime sector.

Strengthened Global Partnerships

Nor-Shipping 2025 also welcomed a record number of new Partners, including ADNOC, Noatum Maritime, Emirates, Lucid Motors, UArctic, and AET, reflecting the event’s rising international profile and influence in shaping the global maritime agenda.

Additionally, the number of national pavilions increased by 31%, with strong representation from key shipping nations such as India, China, and Germany.

Nor-Shipping 2025 marked a milestone 60th anniversary by setting new records in attendance, global participation, and industry engagement. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration, the event successfully reinforced its position as a premier global platform for shaping the future of ocean-based industries.

As stakeholders look ahead to Nor-Shipping 2027, the 2025 edition has set a high benchmark for what’s possible when the global maritime community unites around a shared vision of a sustainable and future-ready ocean economy.
