Swire Shipping Joins Achilles Maritime Network to Advance Supply Chain Sustainability

Achilles, a leader in supply chain risk management, has formalised a partnership with Swire Shipping, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading shipping operators. This agreement increases the number of vessels in the Achilles Maritime Network to more than 2,200, signalling growing industry adoption of sustainable business practices. Swire’s operations include 12 liner services connecting over 400 ports worldwide, transporting containerised, project, heavy lift, breakbulk, and mini-bulk cargoes.

With suppliers across the Asia-Pacific, including emerging maritime regions, Swire Shipping recognises the importance of supplier engagement in building transparent and responsible supply chains. The company seeks partners who not only comply with regulations but also embrace higher ethical and sustainability standards. By joining Achilles, Swire gains access to a prequalified supplier database, enabling its procurement and sustainability teams to strengthen reporting and compliance efforts.
