Nanjing Tanker Corporation, a subsidiary of China Changjiang National Shipping Group (part of China Merchants Group), has confirmed plans to construct two LR2 product/crude oil tankers. This procurement marks a major step forward in the company’s strategy to expand its fleet and enhance its role in global energy transportation, according to Xinde Marine.
