Hanwha Ocean has announced the signing of a single sales and supply contract for the construction of one Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carrier, valued at approximately USD 252 million. The order, placed by a shipowner in North America, represents around 3.3% of the company’s 2024 consolidated annual sales. The disclosure was published through the Korea Investor’s Network for Disclosure (KIND), as reported by PortNews.
The contract, effective from September 30, 2025, to May 31, 2028, outlines construction and delivery terms for the LNG carrier, with payments scheduled according to project milestones.
