As Singapore bunkering industry is gearing up, more bunker tankers are being equipped with Mass Flow Meters. As we are all aware that from January 1, 2017 it will be mandatory to use an Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore approved MFM system for Marine Fuel Oil (MFO) bunkering in Singapore.
In line with that, Fratelli Cosulich Managing Director Guido Cardullo commented: “It will rebuild the trust between shipowners and bunkers in Singapore – trust that was lost in the last few years.”
Fratelli Cosulich Bunkers (S) Pte Ltd (Fratelli) says the introduction of mass flow meters (MFMs) for bunkering in Singapore “will change everything” as reported by Ship & Bunker.
