Navig8 has just shared some exciting news: they’ve wrapped up a significant deal with shipowner Leonhardt & Blumberg for six brand-new Marineline IMO2 MR vessels. These ships will be managed commercially by Navig8, utilising a combination of time-charter and pooling agreements, all while operating within the company’s IMO2 MR Pool, known as Gamma8, reports Navig8.
Fleet Expansion Strengthens IMO2 Segment Presence
With these new additions, the Gamma8 fleet is on track to expand to 25 vessels by 2026 and 29 vessels by 2027, solidifying Navig8’s robust presence in the IMO2 MR segment. While the specifics of the transaction are under wraps, Navig8 has confirmed that the deal is officially done, marking another milestone in its strategic growth journey.
