Disney Cruise Line held a grand christening ceremony for its newest vessel at its home-port in Florida, marking a significant addition to its fleet.
The celebration featured a waterfront concert, scenic projections across the ship’s hull and a choreographed drone display. Attendees included senior executives who noted the ship embodies the brand’s storytelling legacy, elevated for a new generation.
A prominent stage moment came when the ship’s godmother—a Broadway performer with longstanding ties to the company’s entertainment division—gave the traditional blessing, followed by a champagne bottle splash.
The vessel is scheduled to embark on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025, offering four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and western Caribbean from its Florida base.
