Cavotec has entered a new cooperation agreement with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (ZPMC), announced on November 7, 2025. This partnership aims to combine Cavotec’s automation and electrification expertise with ZPMC’s global leadership in port equipment manufacturing to accelerate sustainable innovation in ports and terminals worldwide.
Strengthening Global Collaboration in Port Technology
Under the agreement, Cavotec will supply ZPMC with advanced automation and electrification solutions. By integrating the technological strengths of both companies, the partnership intends to support the development of modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly port infrastructure. Signing Ceremony at the 8th CIIE in Shanghai
The cooperation milestone was formalised during a signing ceremony hosted by China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE). Cavotec was represented by Wendy Liu, VP Global SCM, and Nicklas Vedin, SVP Ports & Maritime. The event highlighted the importance of international collaboration and showcased both organisations’ dedication to shaping the future of smart port technologies.
