The Shipping firm Mitsui O.S.K. Lines has finalized logo design for their next-generation car carriers named “FLEXIE”.
The unveiling of the logo is said to be rebranding strategy to strengthen the company’s following services such as vehicle transport, heavy cargo services and is to be rushed ahead of the new ships to join the fleet in late 2017.
The new vessel design includes two adjustable decks that can be placed in between two fixed decks. The decks also incorporate a newly designed lift-able system that allows greater flexibility.
A spokesperson for the company said, “The company will not only develop a global marketing effort in vehicle transport service to promote the flexibility of the new carriers’ liftable decks, but also strengthen group-wide marketing efforts to build awareness of the MOL Project & Heavy Cargo service”.
In further reports, the company has commissioned a white and a blue color code combination that builds on the MOL ACE brand and represents the firm’s commitment to advancement in environmental protection, new technology, and hull design and deck structure.
