Filtersafe – provides Filters for Balpure Ballast Water Systems.

Filtersafe is providing 40 micron filters for Balpure ballast water systems being installed on a series of oil tankers being built in South Korea. The Filtersafe system along with Smartweave and Nozzlex – claims to remove

1. up to 96% removal of zooplankton (> 50 micron)
2. up to 50% removal of Phytoplankton ( 10 < 50 micron)
3. up to 98% removal of TSS (Total Suspended Solids).
