What happened?

An explosion occurred when the ship was enroute from Baltimore to the Azores and was about 1,300 miles (2,092 kilometers) east of Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

Two killed, two injured:

The U.S. Coast Guard said in a statement that it released on Wednesday that the 2 crew members were flown from Tamar after an explosion in the 623-foot Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carriers’ storeroom whereas the explosion killed another two other crew members on Monday.

The cause of the explosion which killed 2 crew members remains unknown.
