Cargo Ship Troubled in English Channel, Two Times

On July 23, a general cargo vessel has reportedly suffered an engine failure for the second time.

What happened?

The general cargo vessel ‘Rover’ suffered an engine failure twice and had to be towed to the nearest port.

It is currently anchored in the English Channel located near Cap Gris-Nez, north of Boulogne, responsibility zone of MRCC Gris-Nez, France.

Engine repaired by crew:

The crew members were able to repair the faults and successfully restarted the engine.

A team of technicians extensively surveyed the vessel and provided assistance to the crew members.

After it received a green signal from the technicians the ship was allowed to set sail and has confirmed to have reached its destination port safely.
