Missing Caribbean Cargo Ship Beats Irma and is Safe

The cargo ship which was deemed to be a victim of hurricane Irma has been found and safely anchored.

What happened?

The cargo ship ‘Princess Samiah’ was deemed missing during hurricane Irma was subsequently found on September 8 and guided to St.Vincent where it is currently anchored.

What happened?

The freighter was feared to have gone missing. The vessel which was well off course from the hurricane’s path was suspected to have been caught in rough seas.

Communication missing:

The communication with the ship was lost for some time and last known location was recorded near Southeast of British Virgin Islands. The communication was re- established on September 8 and the vessel was guided to nearby St.Vincent. The three crew members onboard the vessel were safe.
