[Watch] Take a First Look Inside MSC’s Glamorous New Cruise Ship

2051

With just over a month before MSC Seaside sets sail on her first Caribbean voyage, MSC has given cruise enthusiasts a glimpse at what to expect from its newest ship – and it looks like the ultimate luxury cruise holiday.

Think Swarovski crystal staircases, cabins with private hot tubs and an entertainment programme with some very exciting offerings.

‘The ship that follows the sun’ is 1059ft long and 134ft wide, and boasts stunning features including a low waterfront promenade deck, glass floored catwalks and the highest ratio of seaside balcony view staterooms than any other cruise ship.

Now, we’ve had a more in-depth look than ever before as MSC unveiled a virtual tour of the ship, from the bars and restaurants to the outdoor pools and interactive water park.

Then of course, a sneak peek inside the glamorous cabins, 76% of which boast ocean views.

The ship can hold up to 5,300 passengers – and they’re sure to be treated to a very lavish adventure.

For a start, there are the cabins. The staterooms look like the epitome of elegance, and we’re loving the suites with seaside balcony views and private whirlpool baths for ultimate indulgence.

As for food, guests will be spoiled for choice! There are 30 bars and restaurants on board, from the Asian Market Kitchen with ocean views to the opulent Seashore, one of the two main restaurants.

Even the reception has a stylish cocktail bar, complete with a grand piano so passengers can enjoy live music while sipping on signature drinks.

In fact, all of the entertainment sounds pretty impressive. For a start, the ship will boast one of the largest and most interactive water parks at sea with five waterslides.

And no doubt thrill-seekers will have a blast on the slides which include a stint over the side of the ship so you’ll feel like you’re flying above the ocean.

Also of interest for adrenaline junkies are the ship’s ziplines, which happen to be the longest ziplines at sea.

As for evening entertainent, there’s a brand new high-tech theatre which can hold up to 940 guests and promises Broadway-worthy shows.

But for those after something extra special, the MSC Yacht Club is pretty stunning. The cabins are the epitome of glamour boasting a separate lounge, outdoor whirlpool bath and even an al fresco dining area so you can take in the views.

Then there’s the fact that guests have access to a private butler and concierge to cater to their every need.

And the luxurious extras don’t end there. The Yacht Club boasts its own bar, a la carte restaurant and lounge, not to mention a solarium and pool at the front of the deck.

MSC Seaside will be setting off on her first official voyage in December 2017, but first will be welcomed with a naming ceremony in homeport Miami.

The ship’s godmother Sophia Loren will be leading the ceremony, and the celebrations will also be attended by Miami Dolphins alum Dan Marino.
