Euroseas, owner and operator of dry bulk and container carrier vessels, is a service provider of seaborne transportation for dry bulk and containerized cargoes.

As said in its press release, on 1 January 2018, the company confirmed about its delivery of M/V Akinada Bridge, a 5,600 teu post-panamax size container vessel built in 2001 in South Korea, which the company had previously agreed to acquire.

The vessel will commence its operation during the first week of January, with a 50-120 day charter at a gross daily rate of $11,250.

Also, this sale concludes the disposition of the vessels of Euromar LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Euroseas, which earlier owned it partially.

Furthermore, the Company announced that it sold one of its 90’s-built container feeder vessels, M/V Aggeliki P, a 2,008 teu vessel built in 1998, for a gross price of about $4.6 million.

This vessel is on it course for a special survey after its delivery to its new owners.
