On April 14, a product tanker sustained holes after it was involved in a collided with a floating crane.
What happened?
The product tanker ‘TIAN E ZUO’ was hit by a floating crane at the Khor al Zubayr port, Iraq. The collision occurred after a floating crane broke away from its tug.
Breached hull
The tanker was involved in ballast operation and its hull was breached due to the impact of the collision and the ballast water started pouring out into the Sea.
After collision, the tanker headed towards Port Rashid Dubai for further survey and repairs.
