The US has been facing repeated mass killings with no mercy even in the school campuses. President Mr Obama has admitted his failure on the implementation of common-sense gun safety laws.
Mr Obama said that “If you look at the number of Americans killed since 9/11 by terrorism, it’s less than 100. If you look at the number that have been killed by gun violence, it’s in the tens of thousands.” He has also expressed his distress for not resolving the issue.
Though Mr Obama has made vigorous efforts to curtail the gun violence, his presidency has been unable to secure any significant changes to the laws.
