Cargo ship sinks
Cargo ship Shenzhou 19 sank, early in the morning of February 17, north of Zhoushan, while en route from Shanghai to Guanzhou, China.
SAR Operations
During the search and rescue operation, 3 crew were rescued. But all 3 died from, what was believed to be, hypothermia. Three of the crew members went missing.
The search and rescue kept going, but as of February 19, the missing seamen were not to be found.
