Maritimebulletin reports that on Apr 11, a crude oil tanker NEW ASSURANCE contacted Petroterminal oil pier at Charco Azul, Charco Azul Bay, Panama Pacific coast.
Condition of the Tanker
As the tanker hull was breached in portside area, it led to the damage of it’s pier loading. Also, there was a small amount of oil leaking in the water. Tanker is in ballast.
In Panama, Tanker repair services were not possible. she’s to sail to other country with suitable repair facilities.
