The Port of Aarhus reported a strong first half of 2025, with freight turnover rising 5.3 percent and container volumes growing more than 13 percent compared to last year. The performance has prompted Denmark’s largest commercial port to revise its full-year outlook upward, according to PortNews.

In the first six months of 2025, the Port of Aarhus generated revenue of DKK 186 million, with EBIT of DKK 52 million and a total result of DKK 48 million. This positive outcome led the port to raise its annual forecast by DKK 23 million. The growth was supported by new container routes, including two direct Asia connections introduced by MSC, Maersk, and Hapag-Lloyd, as well as additional services from Maersk and CMA CGM’s new link to the Baltic region. Despite global market volatility and shifting supply chains, Aarhus continues to strengthen its role as Denmark’s key logistics hub.
