Advent Technologies and Technohull will partner to create a hybrid electric propulsion system for luxury boats. The system will combine Advent’s eMethanol-powered fuel cells with batteries to ensure a reliable and eco-friendly power source for a custom-designed Technohull vessel in Greece.

Efficiency At Sea

Advent Technologies and Technohull aim to integrate Advent’s Serene systems into a Technohull boat, providing extended range in open sea conditions. The compact battery in this hybrid solution is significantly smaller than traditional battery-only systems, reducing Total Cost of Ownership.

Advent’s Serene systems use eMethanol, derived from green hydrogen and captured carbon dioxide, ensuring net-zero emissions. The 4th generation eMethanol-powered hydrogen fuel cell, SereneU, offers up to 250kW power, with low noise and vibrations for a more comfortable and peaceful experience.
