A recent International Transport Journal news brings to light about the new appointment of Arnt Vespermann as the new Chief Executive of Offen Group.
Arnt Vespermann
Dr. Arnt Vespermann has been with Hamburg Süd for 18 years and a member of the Executive Board since 2009.
As announced, with the closing he superseded as CEO the long-standing previous Chairman of the Executive Board.
To succeed Claus-Peter Offen
Arnt Vespermann, who served at Hamburg Süd between 1999 and 2021 and who has been at the helm of the shipping company as chief executive officer since 2017, will succeed Claus-Peter Offen on 1 January 2022.
The head of the Hamburg-based Offen Group, which evolved from the shipping company of the same name he founded in 1971, has announced his intention to retire from operational business on that date
