Ascenz Marorka, a GTT Group company, has announced a partnership with Gazocean, a French firm specializing in the technical management of LNG carriers. Gazocean has chosen Ascenz Marorka’s Smart Shipping solution for its fleet of six vessels, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
Comprehensive Performance Management
The contract includes access to Ascenz Marorka’s Smart Shipping platform, which will manage vessel performance and monitor LNG cargoes through automatic data collection from onboard sensors. This initiative will produce performance and environmental reports, benefiting Gazocean, its shipowners, and charterers by optimizing energy efficiency.
Reducing Crew Administrative Burden
With advanced automation of reporting, crew members will experience a significant reduction in administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on critical operational responsibilities. Shore-based teams will also benefit from improved data quality and reduced time spent on manual checks.
Enhancing Route Safety and Efficiency
In addition to performance monitoring, the contract covers Weather Routing services and access to Ascenz Marorka’s Fleet Center, further improving route safety and overall operational efficiency. This collaboration aims to support Gazocean’s digitalization efforts and enhance the working conditions of their crew.
