According to an article published by The Star, a cargo ship docked at the Laem Chabang deep-sea port in Chon Buri caught fire injuring at least 50 people.
What happened?
On May 25, the Bangkok Post reported that the fire broke out on the cargo ship docked at Wharf A2, Thung Sukhla, Laem Chabang Port at 6.35 am (local time) and more than 10 fire engines were rushed to the scene.
Fire under control
“The situation is under control. Police and local officials are investigating the cause of the blaze,” Mokkhao was quoted as saying.
The victims, who suffered burns and smoke inhalation, were treated at four hospitals nearby.
