A stormy weather cut the mooring lines of the tug Aaron and lost towed barge SMITBARGE 8 to strong waves. The huge waves took the breakaway barge into Ruegen Island, Germany.
There were no reports of injuries to seafarers or damages due to grounding.
The towing tug was refloated by few other tugs.
