BayoTech and CarbonFree Chemicals are to develop a pilot hydrogen production site with carbon capture technologies as part of a new partnership, reports H2 View.
CarbonFree’s Carbon Capture Technology
The duo today (July 26) said they have joined forces on the effort which will utilise both BayoTech’s hydrogen generator with CarbonFree’s carbon capture technology.
Dubbed SkyCycle™ the carbon capture technology is an on-site solution that mineralises carbon dioxide (CO2) captured from the generator and creates products for sale or safe storage.
BayoTech CEO’s Inference
On the partnership, Mo Vargas, CEO of BayoTech, said, “We need accessible solutions to propel the hydrogen economy forward and move rapidly towards decarbonisation.”
