A new express shipping corridor connects northern China’s Hebei Province to the U.S. west coast, providing the fastest maritime link between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and the U.S., reports CGTN.

Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region Gains Market Access

The route will give businesses in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region greater access to the U.S. market, enabling efficient cross-border trade.

Operated by Hede International Shipping, the service will run one cargo ship per week.

The route reduces shipping time by seven to nine days. The fastest delivery from coast to coast is expected in just 16 days.

Direct Stops at Shanghai and Los Angeles

The route includes a stop at the Port of Shanghai before heading directly to the Port of Los Angeles.

Cross-border e-commerce sellers in Hebei stand to benefit significantly from the faster, cheaper route.

Lower Logistics Costs for Hebei Businesses

“The new freight route is faster, and we can reduce the stock volume by a week,” says Wang Bo, an international freight forwarder. Businesses can save 30-40% on transportation costs.

Factories can optimize production schedules around the fixed weekly shipping timetable and provide accurate delivery dates to U.S. clients.

Enhanced U.S. Market Penetration

The route strengthens Chinese businesses’ ability to meet demand and expand their reach in the competitive U.S. market.

Improved logistics management reduces stock volume and ensures timely business delivery across sectors.
