Bestway Marine & Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., has signed major contracts for the construction of 12 new vessels. The orders include six multi-purpose general cargo vessels and six anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, marking a significant step forward in expanding the company’s shipbuilding and offshore engineering portfolio.
Contract for Six Multi-purpose General Cargo Vessels
On August 13, Dajin Heavy Industry signed a project construction contract with China Shipbuilding Trading Shanghai Co., Ltd. (CSTC) for the delivery of six 7,350-dwt multi-purpose general cargo vessels.

To support the execution of this contract, Bestway Marine will provide CSTC with a counter-guarantee worth up to US$59.4 million (approx. RMB 424 million) to secure the necessary letters of guarantee.
Expansion into Offshore Engineering with AHTS Vessels
In addition to cargo ships, Dajin Heavy Industry has recently secured an EPC contract for six 65-meter Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels. These vessels are crucial for offshore operations such as towing, anchor handling, and supply functions.
This order highlights the strength of Dajin Heavy Industry’s EPC Offshore Engineering Center, which offers full-process capabilities—from ship design and procurement to construction and after-sales services.
