By exclusively utilizing BIOFUEL+, a biofuel derived from organic waste, Nestlé achieves a remarkable milestone in carbon reduction, slashing emissions associated with shipping and contributing to a more eco-friendly supply chain.
Green Revolution at Sea: Nestlé’s Partnership with CMA CGM+
In a strategic alliance with CMA CGM+, Nestlé has embraced the ACT WITH low-carbon range, leveraging BIOFUEL+ to transport 100% of its volumes. Launched in 2020, this initiative empowers Nestlé to curtail carbon emissions by 84%, equating to a substantial avoidance of 70,000 tons of CO2 annually. The partnership underscores Nestlé’s commitment to environmental stewardship and accelerates progress toward a sustainable and low-carbon future in global shipping.
