Zero Emissions

Proudly partnering with Leonhardt & Blumberg, we’ve ordered eight cutting-edge, low-emission dry cargo vessels, weighing 8,500 tons each, to be constructed by India’s Chowgule and Company – Shipbuilding Division Group. JR Shipping Shipbrokers & Consultants facilitated this venture.

Climate change

Climate Change can no longer be ignored and ‘change of course’ is absolutely necessary. These vessels will be unparalleled energy efficient and designed to adept to future energy sources.

The vessels are also ready for innovations such as:

  • wind assisted propulsion,
  • carbon capture and
  • emission free operation on batteries to lower emissions even further!

Sustainable Collaboration

Starting in autumn 2025, the vessels will be delivered to Boomsma Shipping and Leonhardt & Blumberg.

Upon entering service, NewTide Chartering B.V. in Rotterdam, a part of the Boomsma group, will oversee their commercial operation.

This marks a joint effort towards advancing sustainable Short Sea Shipping.
