Container ship interrupted her voyage from Busan to Long Beach after reportedly, massive containers collapse and loss, reports Maritime Bulletin.
What happened?
Accident took place on Nov 24 in the Pacific southeast of Iturup island, Kuril Archipelago. The vessel turned back and on Nov 29 anchored off Yeosu, Korea. After series of maneuvering and shifting anchorages, the ship finally, berthed at Gwangyang, Yeosu, on Dec 2.
Not yet clear if the ship will be able to resume voyage, or containers will be offloaded. Details regarding the number of lost or damaged containers remain unknown.
