[Bravo] Watch Coast Guard’s Daring Rescue Of Hugo Boss

The Skippers of the Yacht, IMOCA 60 Hugo Boss, Alex  Thomson and Guillermo Altadill were en route to A Coruna, Spain to meet their technical team.  After their voyage for 36 hours in high seas and strong winds, the structure of the boat deteriorated and started with water ingress.

Immediately, the skippers used the emergency beacon.  The Spanish Coastguard received the distress signal and sent a rescue helicopter to the spot, about 82 nautical miles from the Spanish Coast.  Both the skippers were rescued safely.

Watch the above video featuring the daring efforts of the Coast Guard to rescue the skippers.
