608

Brazil’s oil and gas regulator ANP added two natural gas items to its regulatory agenda and set back conclusion dates for another 14 existing items, reports argus media.

Two items

The two items added were gas release regulations — expected to be concluded in July 2024 and the criteria for transportation pipelines, which ANP expects to conclude in October 2025.

Postponed items

Out of the existing items, eight were postponed to 2025, including the interconnection between pipelines, the expansion of transportation pipelines, and consolidation of regulations for trading and carrying gas, among others.

Another four existing items were also postponed to 2024.

The remaining two items deal with natural gas transportation and LNG distribution and are expected to be completed in October and November, respectively.
