The 180,000 dwt bulk carrier “CS NANJING”, built by Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry for CSSC Brokerage Services, was successfully delivered on May 25 morning. The ship is the third ship delivered by BSIC this month.
“CS NANJING” is the second 180,000 dwt bulk carrier ordered by CSSC Brokerage Services in the extreme downturn of the market, playing the role of “reservoir”.
The 180,000 dwt bulk carrier delivered this time is the fifth generation product, with an optimized mooring layout in accordance with Panama Canal specifications and equipped with Panama pilot platform, which has a wider navigation area and better environmental performance than the previous generation product.
Dimensions
The ship has a total length of 292.0m, a width of 45.0m, and a depth of 24.80m. It was designed according to the requirements of the CSR specification. It was equipped with a mixed scrubber and a USCG-type approved ballast water treatment device.
Through the configuration of high-efficiency propeller, front duct, vortex fins, and other means, and the optimization of main engine selection, the EEDI index reaches the level of the second stage, truly integrating “green, safe, energy-saving and high efficiency”
