BSIC Focuses on Green Shipping With 3+3 Bulk Carrier Project

On September 5, CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding, China Shipbuilding Trading and Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, held a signing ceremony for the construction project of 3+3 210,000 dwt Ammonia DF/DF Ready bulk carriers in Singapore, reports Xinde Marine News.

The 3+3 210,000 dwt Ammonia DF/DF Ready bulk carriers signed this time were independently designed by CSDC, a design company affiliated with BSIC. The ship has a total length of 300.00 meters, a molded width of 50.00 meters, a molded depth of 25.20 meters, a structural draft of 18.40 meters, and a speed of 14.0 knots, it can meet the requirements of EEDI Phase Ⅲ.

BSIC continues to focus on the main shipbuilding market for large bulk carriers, currently holding 35 Newcastlemax bulk carriers, with a stable market share ranking first in the world. Among them, the proportion of new energy green and environmentally friendly ship types exceeds 80%.
